Mount Analogue
Mount Analogue are a musical group from France consisting
of Ben Lupus and Alexander Van Pelt. The brief was to create
a design for their debut EP that began to build a visual identity
that reflected the group's music, ideals and process. Their name
was taken from the book of the same name by René Daumal.
The story is about a band of explorers who set out on an
adventure to a mythical mountain in search of enlightenment.
Due to budget constraints the cover & poster were made from a single A4 sheet that served as both. The album design suggests the view from atop Mount Analogue, looking down from high above the earth.
